Case - i : ( Alliance Capital - Mumbai ) : |

This customer had a Lan with HP Pentium-100 server with 15 nodes on Novell
Operating System and Windows for workgroup. Various fund management application
software were running on this network. This has now been upgraded to Compaq
proliant 2500 with Raid 5, which is backed up by a proliant 800 server.
Both these systems have been rack mounted on 42u rack and are being controlled
by single monitor and trackball keyboard. Customer has migrated from Novell
Netware to windows NT 4.0 with Windows NT clients. The migration has been
extremely smooth even for the workstations, which are Compaq Deskpro 2000.
The order value of the entire project was 70 lacs. Installation and migration
was completed flat in fifteen days.

- ii : (Reliance Industries Ltd - Hazira ) : |

Digitron was the first to provide UTP Cabling at Reliance-Hazira using
UTP Hub & Cat5 Cable. At this site PC Lan has been established at m.i.s.
& 7 other buildings like stores, administration, warehouse & dispatches.
The main data is being processed in two "dec - vax" mini computers
and the processed data is being downloaded to the respective servers in
these 8 buildings. This helps in reducing traffic & load on "dec -
vax" because all the queries by users in respective buildings are
being handeled by servers instead of the conventionally answered by the
vax.

- iii : (Reliance Industries Ltd.- Fibre Div., Maker Chamber-iv)

Fibre mktg. Div. Of Reliance Industries Ltd. Has regional & H.O. Operations
at this location. FMD is further split into three groups, viz. Pty, Pfy
& Poy. These 3 groups are given separate servers, viz. Ast Manhattan (2
nos.) And Compaq Prosignia 300 under AT&T Cat5 structured cabling network.
All Sr. Mgrs have been provided rights to have access to any server. The
utility of network includes order processing (stocks, sales, dispatches,
collection & e-mail services).
